CFA Society San Francisco — CFA Mentorship program

Currently serving as a financial advisor for Emerson Equity in San Mateo, California, Darrach Bourke has over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry. As a financial professional, Darrach Bourke is also a member of several professional organizations, including the CFA Society San Francisco (CFASF).

Begun in 1929, the San Francisco chapter of the CFA Society provides professional development and leadership for the investment industry. The society has over 3,500 investment professionals throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area and includes programs to help those newly entered into this field become more successful. The nonprofit organization sponsors educational events throughout the year, and many of its experienced members serve as mentors.

The CFA mentorship program matches new financial advisors with professionals who have varying levels of experience in a one-year volunteer program. The mentorship gives newer advisors the chance to network with other members and gain insights and personal wisdom from seasoned professionals.
