A graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelor of arts in business economics with an emphasis in accounting, Darrach Bourke is senior vice president at Emerson Equity in San Mateo, California. Darrach Bourke remains active in his broader professional community and maintains membership in the CFA Institute, which will hold its Fixed Income Management 2017 Conference on October 12 and 13.

The CFA Institute’s Fixed Income Management 2017 Conference will be held at Westin Copley Place in Boston. With a theme of Finding Opportunity through Differentiation, this year’s event will feature a number of educational sessions, including Real-Time Inflation Measures and Better Use of Big Data for Decision Making, presented by Roberto Rigobon of the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Also speaking at the event will be Community Capital president and COO Alyssa D. Greenspan. She will give a presentation titled Opportunities in Fixed-Income ESG and Impact Investing in tandem with Erika Karp, founder and CEO of Cornerstone Capital Group, and Cheryl Smith, managing partner and portfolio manager at Trillium Asset Management, LLC.

The conference will close with a Fireside Chat with the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Robert Kaplan. Mr. Kaplan will discuss the implications of current economic conditions for monetary policy and assess the need for fiscal policies and structural reforms to spur economic growth.
